Baby Vegetables
Worldwide, baby vegetables were originally produced for 'Grand Chefs' and luxury groceries and supermarkets.
From the 1970's they became very popular and even they started to reach a vast range of new consumers, including homes.
A large number of all types of vegetables can be marketed as baby vegetables. Some of them are standart vegetables transplanted at high density and harvested
early, some are issued from specialty cultivars that yield miniature products.
